On August 2, H.E. Ambassador Zhou Jian, on behalf of the Chinese Embassy in Fiji, handed over a grant to Inspire Pacific, registered institute to implement the Children Rehabilitation and Integration Project, under the witness of Hon. Lynda Tabuya at the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Protection.

H.E. Ambassador Zhou Jian said, in recent years, China-Fiji practical cooperation has been witnessing fruitful results. The Chinese Embassy would like to take this opportunity to call for more strength from both Fiji government divisions and NGOs, so that we could join hands to gather new momentum for future development.

Hon. Minister Tabuya, on behalf of the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Protection and Inspire Pacific, expressed gratitude for the Chinese Embassy’s generosity. “The grant exemplifies Fiji-China friendship, collaboration and China’s support in addressing the need of vulnerable youth in Fiji society”, said Hon. Minister.
