On August 16th, Chinese Embassy in Fiji held the 2024 Chinese Government Scholarship Award Ceremony. Hosted by Chargé d'Affaires a.i., Minister Counsellor Wang Yuan, the ceremony was attended by more than 30 guests, including winners of 2024 Chinese Government Scholarship and their families, and former scholarship recipients.

Chargé d'Affaires a.i., Minister Counsellor Wang Yuan sent warmest congratulations to all recipients. He encouraged students to work diligently to realize self-value, and make China-Fiji friendship pass through generations and continue to flourish.

The winners of 2024 Chinese Government Scholarship said, they will cherish the opportunity to study in China, and contribute to Fiji’s development and Fiji-China cooperation in various fields. Former scholarship recipients shared impressive stories about their life in China. Students and family members took pictures to capture this unforgettable moment. The ceremony completed with a huge round of applause.
