On January 13th, Chinese Ambassador to Fiji Zhou Jian paid a courtesy call on His Lordship Chief Justice Temo. The two sides had friendly exchanges on China-Fiji relations and judicial cooperation.
Ambassador Zhou Jian said that, this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Fiji, and since that, the two countries have continuously strengthened political mutual trust and achieved fruitful results in practical cooperation in various fields. China adheres to the rule of law in a comprehensive manner and has made historic achievements in law-based governance, and is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the Fijian side in judicial field for the benefits of the two countries and peoples.
Chief Justice Temo spoke highly of Fiji-China relationship, thanked China for its long-term selfless assistance, which has promoted the development of Fiji, and looked forward to deepening the cooperation between the two countries in the judicial and other fields.
