On January 15, Ambassador Zhou Jian attended the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on China-Fiji Chinese Language Education Cooperation, during which he signed the MOU with Fiji's Minister for Education Hon. Aseri Radrodro and delivered a speech. Over 40 people attended the ceremony, including officials from the Fiji Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives of primary and secondary schools, and media.

Ambassador Zhou Jian emphasized in his speech, that Chinese language education will open a new window for understanding China, bring new opportunities for international cooperation, and ignite new hope for realizing dreams. China will continuously promote educational exchanges and collaborations with Fiji, and establish a strong talent base for Fiji's development and the long-lasting friendship between our two countries.

Hon. Radrodro said that with the continuous deepening of cooperation between China and Fiji in various fields, China's influence in the South Pacific is steadily growing, and the demand for Chinese language education in Pacific Island Countries like Fiji is increasing. This MOU will further strengthen educational cooperation between the two countries and benefit more students in Fiji.
