1. Eligibility

Diplomatic and Service visas are issued to individuals traveling to China for diplomatic or official purposes, including diplomats, government officials, and members of official delegations. Whether holders of diplomatic or service passports need a visa depends on the mutual visa exemption agreements between China and other countries. Please refer to the List of Mutual Visa Exemption Agreements Between China and Foreign Countries for details.

Courtesy visas are issued to foreign nationals who are granted courtesy treatment due to their special status, such as holders of diplomatic passports traveling to China for personal reasons including tourism, family visits, or transit, and others deemed eligible for such treatment by the Chinese Embassy in Fiji.

2. Required Documents

(1) Original passport valid for at least 6 months with at least one blank visa page, and a valid visa/residence permit/exemption permit of Fiji.

(2) A diplomatic note or official letter issued by the relevant foreign government or international organization, or by a diplomatic or consular mission in China, or an invitation letter from the relevant Chinese authority.

(3) Other documents as required by the Embassy based on individual cases.
