On May 25th, Ambassador Zhou Jian received an exclusive interview by Fijian Broadcasting Corporation (FBC), Fiji’s national broadcaster, on its program Your Voice. He provided a comprehensive overview of the historical context of the Taiwan question, elaborated on China’s principled position regarding Taiwan affairs, and refuted the fallacy of the so-called "undetermined status of Taiwan". He also highlighted China’s foreign policies towards Fiji and Pacific Island Countries, briefed on the development of China-Fiji cooperation in climate change response, trade, and people-to-people exchanges, while addressing questions on China-U.S. trade negotiations, China-Pacific security collaboration, and China’s foreign aid.
