The position of the Chinese government on cybersecurity is consistent and clear. China is a staunch defender of cybersecurity. China firmly opposes and combats hacking activities in accordance with law, and firmly opposes the practice of politicizing cybersecurity issues. China also firmly opposes spreading disinformation for political agenda and accusing other countries without evidence. 

Cybersecurity is an issue of common concern for China and the U.S. We urge the U.S. side to quit double standards and political manipulation, take a responsible and constructive approach, jointly tackle cybersecurity risks through equal-footed dialogue and consultation, and build a relationship in cyberspace featured by peace, stability and mutual respect.
