Chargé d'affaires a.i. Wang Yuan Visited and Extended Chinese New Year Greetings to Chinese-funded Enterprises and Institutions

In early February, Wang Yuan, Chargé d'affaires a.i. of the Chinese Embassy in Fiji, visited and extended his regards to  Chinese-funded enterprises and institutions in Suva and Nadi. He exchanged views with employees and front-line technical personnel of which, such as China Railway No.5 Engineering Group(Fiji), China Railway First Group (Fiji) , China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation(Fiji), YanJian Group, and the China-aid technical assistance projects of Juncao and Rice. Counsellor Liu Ke also participated.

Wang Yuan first conveyed the care and concern of the government, extended New Year’s greetings, inquired in detail about the work and living conditions, fully affirmed the important contributions made by the overseas front line employees to the cooperation between China and Fiji in various fields, hoped that all units would strengthen their awareness of work safety, ensure the steady progress of projects and the health and safety of employees, and encouraged everyone to contribute more to the high-quality development of the enterprise and the prosperity of the motherland.

Employees from the institutions and enterprises expressed their gratitude and stated that they will continue to operate in full compliance, uphold a strong sense of risk awareness, and demonstrate a positive corporate image.
