On March 20th, Chinese Embassy in Fiji held a press briefing and networking reception about the “Two Sessions” at Suva Bowling Club, with over 80 people attended, including journalists from Fiji Times, Fiji Sun, FBC, Fiji TV, Mai TV, Fiji Live, Bula FM. as well as Party members, scholars and Foreign Ministry officials.

CDA of the Embassy, Mr. Wang Yuan provided a comprehensive introduction to the outcomes of the “Two Sessions”, elaborating on China’s role as a driving force for world peace and stability, a contributor to common development and shared progress, and a defender of international fairness and justice, and reiterated China’s commitments to join hands with Fiji and other Global South Countries towards modernization.
Following this, Mr. Wang had a deep discussion with friends from media on some hot topics regarding China-Fiji relations. The attendees spoke highly of China’s experience in national governance and social development, expressing that they will actively share China’s stories and contribute to the friendship between our two countries.
