On behalf of the Chinese Embassy in Fiji, I extend my warmest congratulations to all the scholarship recipients and award winners!

To students about to embark on new journey to China—this admission letter is a golden key to knowledge, and also a gift that bridges oceans. I do believe that, during your stay in China, you will not only gain knowledge but also experience the richness of Chinese culture. May this chapter become one of the most memorable parts of your life.

To vloggers who told China’s stories through your lenses—this certificate recognizes your creativity and your role in promoting dialogue between our cultures. Thank you for capturing the charm of China and strengthening bonds between our peoples with your unique perspective. Your work has made the exchanges across the Pacific vivid and warm.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Fiji. At this important moment, you all carry a special mission. As a former teacher, I would like to share three wishes with you:

First, be a dream-chaser in the pursuit of knowledge. Make the most of this opportunity to learn, explore, and broaden your horizons. May you grow into well-rounded talents with both professional excellence and a global perspective.

Second, be an ambassador of cultural exchanges. Civilization is colorful because of communication, and is enriched by mutual learning. I hope you will not only dive deep into Chinese culture but also share the unique beauty of Fijian culture with others, weaving closer ties between our peoples.

Third, be an inheritor of China-Fiji friendship. I hope you could cherish the bond between our two countries, protect this shared friendship with respect and appreciation. Use what you learn and experience to tell the story of our flourishing friendship, and inspire future generations to carry it forward.

The future of the world belongs to the youth. The great cause of China-Fiji friendship needs your energy and dedication.
